The Architects Act of Prince Edward Island requires institutional buildings to be designed by an Architect.

Whether you are about to embark on a new building or renovating project, the process is bound to be complex, expensive and a time consuming undertaking. There are hundreds of considerations and decisions to make – and costly mistakes potentially lie behind each of them. One of the best investments you can make is to involve your Architect in the early planning stages.

Architects have the experience, education, and vision necessary to guide you through the entire design and construction process successfully. From helping you define what you want to build to helping you get the most for your construction dollar.

From site selection to move-in, Architects act as project leaders. They manage and coordinate key project elements and engineering, while you focus on your organization’s activities. Architects look for ways to make your project cost effective and propose ways to get even more for your investment than you imagined possible.

Architects are a wise investment of today’s dollars for tomorrow’s savings. A building designed for maximum energy efficiency can reduce bills now and down the road and an efficient use of space can result in reducing the total amount of square footage you require.
