The Very Latest AAPEI is proud to profile the Institute of Island Architectural Studies and Conservation. The purpose of the Institute is to develop a repository of architectural history and associated artifacts, to create a resource library for the support of architectural preservation, renovation and design and to develop a roster of resource persons who would be available to those in need of advice in the areas of Island architectural studies and conservation. The Institute also assembles and loans printed resource material to foster awareness of the significance and benefit of the preservation of Island architectural traditions and educates the public in the various architectural traditions that contribute to the style of Island buildings. The Institute of Island Architectural Studies and Conservations lecture series will be posted on the Events page. For more information on the Institute of Island Architectural Studies and Conservation please contact Don Patton at d.j.patton@dal.ca. |
