Award Program
Established by the Architects Association of Prince Edward Island (AAPEI) to assist Island students pursuing careers in Architecture, and to increase the awareness of Architecture and the Architects Association on Prince Edward Island.
This scholarship is available to a student from Prince Edward Island attending a Canadian School of Architecture having completed at least one year and continuing in an undergraduate or post graduate degree program in Architecture.
Awarded on the basis of academic achievement, design ability, performance in projects, leadership ability and a demonstrated concern for the welfare of others. The scholarship may be renewed on the same basis at the discretion of the AAPEI.
The value of the scholarship is $1,500, and is awarded in the Summer prior to the school year. Deadline for applications is June 30.
Eligibility and Conditions
- This award is open to all students from Prince Edward Island enrolled in a Canadian or American School of Architecture. The candidate must have resided and completed secondary education on Prince Edward Island.
- The award money must be used within the calendar year following notification to the recipient of the award.
- AAPEI must be notified in any changes in the recipient's objectives and plans after selection.
